What You’ll Do

You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of our financial products. You will be responsible for the end-to-end testing of our web and mobile applications, ensuring that every trade executed and every portfolio rebalanced meets the highest standards of precision and security. You’ll work closely with product managers and developers to catch bugs before they reach our users, directly impacting the financial well-being of thousands of investors.

Responsibilities

Test Execution: Perform rigorous manual functional, regression, and integration testing across Syfe’s web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms.
Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, checklists, and test plans based on product requirements.
Product Quality: Validate complex financial flows, including fractional share trading, fund transfers, and portfolio performance tracking.
Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to provide early feedback on feature specifications and user stories.

Minimum Qualifications

2-4 years of professional software testing experience
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Problem-solving skills, analytical mind, and positive attitude
Experience in the backend, database, and mobile apps testing
Good understanding of the Agile Methodology

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience testing brokerage, wealth management, or banking applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
